Studio being used by a group of Yoga & Pilates instructors to make training videos for YouTube and other distribution.
.From 1994, until we suspended San Diego operations in
2005,
here in San Diego County, ARIA was a quite secretively run from Ramona
and Jamul (for project
security reasons of the time); we were very commercial in our
operations, and intent on
attempting to create cable and theatrical release feature film content
for gross profit,
just like any other successful business. We did make a large number of
shows, but never
the big feature film we wanted to release. We could blame it on the
politics of the day, versus our current demographics, so we decided to
move the operations. So, what ended up happening instead (a success of a different
sort) for our Production Department, was that we were continuously contracted to assist other productions
coming here (too many to list), and then in Orlando, Florida (from 2005 to
2012), and then finally in The Spanish Virgin Islands (part of Puerto Rico) along
with The US Virgin Islands (from 2012 to 2024). Even a couple of things in the
British Virgin Islands. The very last feature film we assisted with
coordination in the Caribbean was: “Plane” (Gerard Butler) in 2022, in Ceiba,
Puerto Rico, where all of the actual “plane shots” were filmed at the Ceiba
Airport (our base site from 2014 to 2024), and our office base was on the
island of Vieques, PR.
The other thing that happened, distinguishing ARIA from
every other production company in existence, is that ARIA has its own professional
level film school… The ARIA Film Lab (to the left are two cast members of the movie Fallen that started out as Film Lab students). Quite often it was the services
of actor training that had our team globe hopping. That's why we were asked to stay in Orlando for a time, to work with kids intent for several Disney shows. The class ensemble was what sparked the movie: "Fallen" to be commisioned. And of course, what initially took us out of San Diego and down into the Caribbean, was the production of Pirates of the Caribbean, parts two and three, shot in
The Commonwealth of Dominica (Eastern Caribbean), where our Aviation Unit (ARIA
used to have five helicopters flying under the company DBA of TigerCopter, LLC - shown below)
was to assist with production ops, transportation, and aerial cinematography.
Subsequent production of the Pirates series relocated to Australia, and our
team stayed in the Caribbean.
Coming home to San Diego from the Caribbean last May
(2024), ARIA President Chase Jazzborne decided to turn ARIA into a more
“community based” production company, in a kind of “Social Experiment”, with
the goal of proving to the world, Motion Picture Arts, and a professional
looking cinematic product, can come from a COMMUNITY, if that community rallies
their talent and time. Of course ARIA provides the training.
The current goal…
“To see if we can put the small town of Ramona,
California on the global production map."
With that said, ARIA does have that one advantage literally
every other production company do not have in house. And that means something
that may normally be quite a long shot for others may prove to be just the sort
of thing to take an unknown community, and make it shine like a star. The ARIA
Motion Pictures ARIA Film Lab.
And what’s so special about The Film Lab? The Film Lab
became famous due to a specialized actor training technique perfected by Chase.
This technique literally “went viral” the first time it was presented in the
form of a video audition, showcasing a former student who was recruited off of
the street and trained to act for the leading role in a feature film, in a
short five-week period, only working with the girl (age 11) twice a week. A
total of 20 hours.
You can see that video here:
Of
any movie company out there, ARIA is the one who has the capability
to put literally ANY community into full-scale professional level
production, taking average people right off the street and turning
them into production pros,
since the Film Lab was first an on-the-job training program for
crew, then
later became a school for actors as well.

ARIA MISSION STATEMENT
The
producers and crew of ARIA Motion Pictures dedicate themselves to providing
responsible content within the scope of every production, vow to serve the
communities that inevitably support us, pay forward for what it is we want to do, and
show the world what wonderous things can happen when just a few dedicated
people put their minds, hearts and souls into something, despite size, scope,
or lack of complexity. To be leaders… not followers, abusers, or users. To make
a statement, without making a fuss. To be dynamic and dramatic, without causing
drama.
