In
San Diego, we have had an independent team working as "talent scouts",
in addition to our normal casting operations. It was the duty of these folks
to locate talent for experimental and developmental shows and movies we
will still work in the Southern California region, as well as casting for
formally scripted and scheduled shows for all regions. This was Team
Rivera!

Johnny
Rivera had been a Line Producer for ARIA since it's beginning, but also
ran his own scouting service as an independent subsidiary in conjunction
with ARIA. The reason for the "independent" status is due to
the fact that quite often Team Rivera will be hired by entities
other than ARIA for their casting needs.

When
Team Rivera was casting for someone else, although it is not ARIA business,
we are always interested in whoever they dig up for any other project,
as we may be interested in this talent too. These separate activities are
encouraged by ARIA staff, as we benefit also, but sometimes they may not meet ARIA specifications.

If
After the passing of Johnny in 2022, Team Rivera has closed their
operations independent of ARIA and now Geri is full time ARIA casting
only.
